Responding to Peers and Rhetorical Situations

I think my peer did a great job of explaining how the drink Gatorade makes the athlete stronger, giving them the potential to be a better athlete. My peer also does a nice job of explaining the audience and the objectivity of the add. However, the author of the blog talks about how the article is being anti water. I don't think that is the intention of the ad. I just think the add is coming to promote the Gatorade drink.

The rhetorical situation of the ad I chose was to analyze the add and I tried to promote what ads message was. My literacy narrative was a personal experience of my own writing. I was much more familiar with my narrative then what the ad was trying to promote. Also, the audience in the disney ad was far different from the audience in my literacy narrative. In the add the audience were for families and especially young children, whereas the audience in my literacy narrative was to peers and my teacher. The ad analysis had more of an upbeat tone and my narrative had many tones that were far less then cheery.
