What Makes a good essay.

The difference between the C paper and the A paper is significant. To describe the three difference that stand out to me would be essential to improving your grade substantially.
 1. The essay has to answer the prompt in a direct and organizational way. Meaning, when writing your essay you sould have clear points in your thesis that you will discuss in your essay. Each paragraph has to deal with one point that you brought in the thesis. Dedicate each paragraph to the point you want to give over. This will make organized essay.
2. The spelling and the grammar should be as exact as possible. You should have your spell-check on your computer review your work. It also a good idea to have someone that you trust look over the paper to check for grammatical errors. Read the essay over and over looking for possible problems. 
3. You should use proper word choice. Use words that make sence with the content, don't use words that just sound fancy. On the other hand, don't simplify your vocabulary. Make your essay include a nice selection of words that make sense in the context. If you use a wide variety of vocabulary and use it well.  That will make a much better essay.
The one that is easiest for me is the organizational step. I generally don't have an issue with answering the prompt in a direct manner. I have good ideas and I like putting them down on paper. One, that I have more difficulty with is #3. Sometimes I pick words that don't exactly work well with the context. I have realized that I do in fact and I try to pick words that I have more of an understanding.

Why I want to take English 101

Being able to write well is an essential to success in the future. Writing well is a form of communication that informs people of what you are capable of. For example, if  someone applies to a graduate school or for a job, I need to be able to convince the reader why I'm a good candidate. Based on the skills as a writer the reader will make an assumption if that person is well educated and coherent. If the reader determines that this applicant is educated that shows that this person is responsible and motivated. If the reader sees that this person writes coherently, the assumption possibly can be made that this applicant might have people skills.
I want to take English 101 because I feel that it will improve my writing skills significantly, in which I can be successful. I will not only be successful in my further education as a good writer but being a good writer is a fundamental in any success I might need in my future.
